Lane is a master goldsmith, and has been making jewelry for over 35 years (he started when he was 16). He has been in Colorado Springs for over 25 years and at the current location for more than a decade. Prior to opening his own shop,Lane worked for Southgate Jewelers and was the manager at the original Manitou Jacks. His creativity and attention to detail are unmatched. He serves customers from all over the United States, from Oregon to Florida. Customers drive from Boulder and Canon City just to be able to have the opportunity to work with Lane. The Colorado Springs shop is designed so that everyone who walks in the door speaks with a jeweler personally, whether it is for designing a custom piece, selling gold, looking for a unique piece for a special person, or simply asking a question. L’Aura has a degree in business, and has apprenticed with Lane for 5 years. Together, this couple shows that a “mom and pop” shop is genuinely the most affordable, personable, and personal way to do business! Additionally, Brandon, a son also living in El Paso County, does all the web design and web work. Lane and L’Aura live in Manitou Springs with their dog Mattie and their cats Jasper and Charlie. They like to go camping, motorcycle riding, and fishing, and enjoy having family picnics and playing poker with friends. They have 4 grown children, a daughter-in-law, and 6 grandchildren (all living in the Colorado Springs area).
